Re: Version error trying to load 1.9 on Archer C7 v2

The warning on the download page is correct! However, the latest 1.9.X works perfectly. Find it in the Show and Tell sub forum. Lantis, finally getting around to flashing this and I am getting that version error with 1.9.x ispy build. Do I need to rename it or something? I'm using the factory file....

Re: Bricked my Archer C7

Yes Thanks, Lantis! For anyone reading this who's new to the show, here's the forum link to the .torrent file which contains all the builds. Simply pull out the file for your particular router. http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8637 And if you don't already know, this cu...

I saw that also :(
So the 4/22/16 ispy build is good for the C7 with the new flash chip?

Re: Bricked my Archer C7

the new firmware worked for me .... Thanks What new firmware are you talking about? 1.8.1, 1.9.0 http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/Archer-C7-V2-NewChipPatch/ Thanks, Lantis. Is Eric still heading up the project? I don't see any recent builds. I was using this several years ago for a specific...

I read the whole thread but it's not clear to me what people are using right now. I bought my C7 V2 at Thanksgiving 2015. I'm thinking that I have the new flash chip as well...

WDR3600 Wifi On/Off Switch

Hi, Longtime user, haven't been using it for a while since I got this router. I know it may seem silly, but I want to use the wifi on/off switch on the back of the router. The OEM firmware works with this. However, the OEM firmware has 0 traffic analysis/graphing/etc... tools. What a shame. Anyone w...

Re: Is stable 1.4.7 version good enough?

The best feature of Gargoyle to me is the ability to set quota. I'm currently using 1.5.8 and have occasional wifi and connectivity issue. I wonder if version 1.4.7 good enough. Looking thru the changelog does not highlight anything that I would miss. Anyone has any thoughts? I'm running 1.4.7 on m...

Re: Version 1.5.9 - Plugins Interface

Love the Plugin module. Attempt toPreserve settings on WNDR3700 did not work upgrading from 1.58. Had to reflash without that checked. Then it worked fine.
Thanks Eric!

Re: Version 1.5.8 - USB Storage with FTP

Thanks for another great build, Eric! Themes aren't working for me. I can load them via putty, but when I choose them through the GUI, it turns to text-only...really messy looking. I tried all of them. Tried Opera and IE. http://imgur.com/gRD5C Edit: Don't get it...but now it works fine. Oh, must ha...
