Re: A simple request (hopefully)

are you sure you have a v2 of the wndr3800? http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/netgear/wndr3800 only lists v1. If the specs are the same, then you should have plenty of flash and ram to give privoxy a go. i'm guessing this is being implemented at a router level and not on the end users PC due to circumvent...

Re: A simple request (hopefully)

You could install privoxy. It takes up quite a bit of flash and ram though.
There's plenty of tutorials.

You'll have to do it yourself, there's no "plugin" per se.

Depends on what you want to achieve. If you ONLY want to block porn websites then you may be better off creating a restriction list in gargoyle itself. If you want to block those AND ads then the script is probably a good way to go about it. Teffalump has excellent instructions at the top of his scr...

Re: Version 1.7.1 - Guest Network Support

Can anyone else using dlna confirm that a reboot makes the plugin report zero files? It's pretty easy to fix, I just need to confirm that it's not just me. For anyone that wants to test, to recover your database afterwards issue the following: /etc/init.d/minidlna stop kill -9 $(pidof minidlna) /etc...

Re: Version 1.7.1 - Guest Network Support

Yes Ive seen. I just don't think the effort of testing is worth it when CC is not overly far away.
It probably does suit an ispy build though as you've mentioned. Maybe pm him the idea.

when i was researching and getting ready to "take the plunge" i just googled "best router for openwrt" and then cross referenced a list against gargoyle support routers. WNDR3800 came highly recommended, with nice flash and ram stats.
