created folders have different permissions

i am having this issue over ftp server directories. if i create a directory over ftp, i get permissions where i can't open the directory and files. i am able to create directories and upload files over ftp but cannot download files created over ftp. see image http://ubuntuone.com/70ItEcXhxgNo1OrrLsl...

im having issues downloading files via ftp. can someone who has an ftp server confirm this. everytime i start a download filezilla says 550 Failed to open file. Critical file transfer error. Reason could not start transfer.

upgrade went fine for wndr3800 like previous poster if you cant see the plugins it is because you choose to preserve settings. if you choose not to preserve settings and start from scratch no problems. im loving the themes especially the matei one. thanks eric and all involved in this update. it roc...

My bad for posting this issue. Turns out if you start from scratch everything is fine. I did encounter an odd issue where I left the hard drive plugged during upgrade and a second folder appeared with an exact replica of all my folders and files.
