Gargoyle SPI Firewall?

I've been assuming that Gargoyle has an SPI firewall built in. Is this the case or have I been making an A$$ out of myself? :oops:

The wireless is terrible on my WZR-HP-G300NH. Performance issues and wireless drops. Tried 30/30/30 several times. No luck.
1.4.5 is working fine on my WZR-HP-G300NH...
