That router (as I'm sure you're aware) originally came with only 4MB of flash space. As a result, it does not have enough space to install plugins, and hence the feature was disabled in 1.9.0. I installed gargoyle_1.9.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr720n-v3-squashfs-factory.bin on TP-LINK TL-WR710nV1 (flash 16MB/MEM 64MB, have been upgraded). gargoyle_1.8.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr720n-v3-squashfs-factory.bin works well on it!
