Hey guys got my C7 v2 today, here's another success story. Had same problem as OP. This method slightly differs from tappers above. Flash the factory-to-ddwrt-US from here ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/04-25-2016-r29519/tplink_archer-c7-v2/ But now we have DD-WRT which won't let you flash gargoyle...
