How to reset my TL-WR1043ND router

I seem to have made a stuff up when trying this: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=bridge_repeater Now I can't access the router on 192.168.1.1 as I used to be able. Can someone help me get back to that point?! It is a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND. Have tried holding the reset button on back o...

Re: Using my old Gargoyle router / WR1043ND with OpenDNS

I am currently using an older version. Gargoyle Version:1.9.X Of the options you have shown 'OpenDNS FamilyShield' is not displayed. 'OpenDNS Servers' is but that does not allow me to put in an IP address for the DNS server. 'Custom DNS Servers' also appears and I have entered DNS server addresses a...

Re: Using my old Gargoyle router / WR1043ND with OpenDNS

Now if I could just get OpenDNS to work I could retire to bed. That said I think I'll hit the sack anyway.

Any tips appreciated and I'll work on it tomorrow. Think it must have to do with the dynamic IP address.

Re: Using my old Gargoyle router / WR1043ND with OpenDNS

Here are some details I just copied off the router:
Gargoyle Version:1.9.X (Built 20160924-1943 git@093be12)
Model:TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v3
Is that version ancient or will it do?

Current IP address of the Gargoyle router is 192.168.1.1
My Telstra Technicolour router is 192.168.0.1

Using my old Gargoyle router / WR1043ND with OpenDNS

I 'd like to use OpenDNS (or something similar) but have not used my gargoyle router for a couple of years ever since Telstra upgraded me to the NBN (and included a new modem). Yesterday I found out that my new modem / router which is a Technicolour DJA0231 does not allow an IP address to be specifi...

Re: Restriction exceptions not working

This works and stops everything from having access. http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i328/g_sports/Gargoyle/All_Restriced_zpsbmih1xwa.png This results in ALL devices to be excepted and therefore have access (instead of just the one specified). http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i328/g_sports/Gar...
