One tip is disabling some processes like bwmon. I've done that, and even went as far as turning off the web server to save some CPU usage. Unfortunately, I still hit the CPU problem with Gargoyle well before that, and it causes the ACC to sort of cut everything to half speed. I'm on a much more gene...

After a LOT of searching, even more trial and error, and swearing I managed to make a build from git for my router (F9k1115V2) and it seems to be running fine. I messed up with the .config files but I think I started clean and I have a useable config file (sans some space saving removal I am used to...
