I've flashed the tew-823dru sysupgrade firmware that you generated on my routers and everything looks good.
Thanks for adding this to your build.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
I am fine with #1 as a solution to this.
As far as the effect of setting the flag on both interfaces, I don't think there will be any impact on clients as the WDS flag is only used for AP-to-AP communications.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
Yes. That was my contribution and that has solved the bssid issue on my Gargoyle build. I still have an issue with setting up WDS on the 5G radio. Gargoyle does not have the option to specify setting WDS+AP on this interface and I have to edit the wireless config manually to achieve this. Unfortunat...

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
One minor issue I forgot to report. In AP+WDS mode, the 2.4GHz radio wds parameter is set to '1' in the wireless config file but the 5GHz radio config does not have wds set. It may be better to set the wds parameter for both interfaces to '1' for this mode as there is no way to specify which radio i...

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
Thanks. That file does exist on my build but the commands do not retrieve the MAC address for my device. You are probably correct that this needs to be fixed upstream in the openwrt or ath10k. I'll post in the appropriate forum to see if they have suggestions.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
Openwrt has a GUI option to set the BSSID in the interface configuration but it requires this change in order for the bridge to work.
No config changes are required for the router. Just adding it to the ath10k-large list is sufficient.
Thanks.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 1
I have compiled this from git for the Trendnet TEW-823DRU as an ath10k-large and I have been using it as a main router and as a bridge and everything appears to work as expected. One issue that comes up for this router is that the wifi MAC Address (BSSID) is always initialized to 00:03:07:12:34:56 f...

Re: Router Firmware Requests
Hi, I'd love to see an image for this router: Router Model: Trendnet TEW-823DRU Link to Openwrt wiki: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/trendnet/trendnet_tew-823dru Is it supported in Openwrt? Yes (in trunk) Does it have >= 4MB of flash? Yes Does it have >= 8MB of flash? Yes Does it have USB suppo...
