I have allways have issues with backing up and restoring the settings of the routers. I have a WNDR3700 and they seem especially susceptible to this... Anyways, I thought it would be great to an option to backup and restore ONLY the dhcp leases and make it so it would ALLWAYS keep its compatibility ...

Im using 1.5.4 on a WNDR3700 V1 and everything works fine except once in a while the internet stops completely and the only way to get it back is to reset the router. Really annoying. Also whenever I flash a new version of Gargoyle on it, the first try usualy bricks the router, then I TFTP flash it ...

I feel you man, I have this problem quite often... there is something wrong going on with this router and gargoyle... Ok I figured it out

I had selected channel 140 for the 5ghz network. This channel is not allowed in north america. When I switched to chan 165 it started working.

So no problems after all, unless you consider being able to choose an unsupported channel a problem.

I just installed 1.5.4 and everything seems to work fine except the 5ghz wireless cant be seen by any of my devices.

Looks like its off or not broadcasting its ssid even though everything is configured right in the router.

The 2.4ghz network works fine.

Any suggestion on how i can fix this?

Hi, I know you can already do a wireless survey so this is noting urgent but if you ever have time for an easy mod... I just wish we could do a wireless survey without having to mess around with the wifi config, like a page that shows everything, encrypted or not, even those networks not broadcastin...

Ok i know this thread is old but... I've been looking for this feature everywhere... were is it now?

A little update;

Today I started having miscalculation of the bandwith usage on the bandwidth_distribution.sh page. The quota still seem to track the usage properly and still no memory errors.

all that on version 1.2.4

hmmm... strange, 1.3.3 is the version that didnt work for me.

Before flashing your router with 1.3.4 what firmware did you have on your router? Was it gargoyle or were you running something else like tomato or dd-wrt?
