Re: 1.11x - gargoyle-ispy 2018-August-07 13:20
Many older popular targets are missing that I think many use for testing. I test on wdr4300 but It's missing. It got an older image running with a lte usb attached to service wife and kids. They didn't notice :D . So now I can test with wrt1200ac. One partition running 1.10.X from january. Works wel...

Re: 1.11.x gargoyle-ispy 2018-July-12 06:01
I just wonder why tl-wdr4300 (and others) are no longer part of the build. Were they removed on purpose or did the build fail?
It's not a discussion about the device itself. I use it for AP and for testing.

Re: Bleeding Edge (mvebu + AR71xx) gargoyle-ispy 2018-June-29 22:45
Thanks for the build! :D On a tl-wdr4300 v1.6 the packages kmod-usb-net-cdc-ether and usb-modeswitch are missing so when I plug in a Huawei E3372 it is not recognized. I only get: Fri Jun 1 21:11:18 2018 kern.info kernel: [ 481.444080] usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-platfor...

Flashed a tl-wdr4300 v1.6.
I preserved settings from (Built 20180416-1938 git@1e8055c) and all is good it seems. Only afterwards I see your warning about preserving settings. Maybe it is only relevant when changing from 1.10 to 1.11.X ?

Re: Next bleeding edge testers wanted
Default SSID's.
When selecting Wireless Mode AP right after flashing (or after firstboot) the SSID's are "OpenWrt" and "OpenWrt"
Save.
Then Disable and save.
When Wireless Mode (AP) is selected again the SSID's are now "Gargoyle" and "Gargoyle 5GHz"

Re: Next bleeding edge testers wanted
I don't recall Gargoyle ever supported changing country in the GUI. You can use shell: uci set wireless.radio0.country=?? uci set wireless.radio1.country=?? uci commit wireless wifi or reboot radio0 and radio1 works for wdr3600 - on other routers use 'iw reg get' to see their radios. Countries: http...
