Re: Version 1.13.0 : Based on OpenWrt 19.07.8
Thanks so much for your hard work on this. I'm running the latest Openwrt (21.02.01). Will this version of Gargoyle have the same level of security?

Any major security issues with Gargoyle 1.12?
Hi everyone, I'm running an Archer c7 v5 for my home router for basic web use. Lately I tried switching to openwrt 21.02 because I figured that would be the most secure build for my router. My problem is that openwrt 21.02 is buggy on my router with choppy video calls and dropouts. If I reverted bac...

Re: DNSpooq vulnerabilities and Gargoyle
I've been trying this mitigation approach and I'm getting two things. First off my putty session just stalls when I input the 3rd line of code: root@Gargoyle:~# uci set dhcp.@dnsmasq[0].cachesize='0' root@Gargoyle:~# uci set dhcp.@dnsmasq[0].dnssec='0' root@Gargoyle:~# uci set dhcp.@dnsmasq[0].dnsfo...

5ghz to 2.4ghz Wireless Bridge Repeater
Hi everyone, I did a search on this but found many unanswered questions, so I thought I would ask again. I am using a WZR-600DHP and I would like to use the 5ghz to wirelessly bridge to the 2.4ghz. I would then use the 2.4ghz as my wireless ap. At present I can do this with DD-WRT but not Gargoyle. ...

Does this version or the future 9.x version fix the wifi issue where if one device is connecting at g speeds, all devices are forced to connect at that speed?

Re: WZR-600DHP - Wireless speed and stability
Just an update on this. I installed the most recent build (1.8.0) through telneting into the router and using the wget command to install the 1.6.1 build. I then upgraded via gui to 1.8.0. Everything seems to be rock solid on the router although wireless tx rates are still limited to 18db for 2.4ghz...

WZR-600DHP - Wireless speed and stability
Hi, I have been using DD-WRT on my Buffalo WZR-600DHP for the last few years. While it has been okay, I can't help but wonder what possibilities exist with the Openwrt releases. Also, DD-WRT is limiting my txt power to 18db right now and apparently this is one of many bugs plaguing the firmware for ...
