WAN Randomly get Inaccesible

Hi, I've been using Gargoyle for several years and have never had any issues. However, since the past couple of weeks, I'm facing a peculiar problem. I have a TPlink wdr4300 runnning gargyole 1.12 that's connected to an adsl modem on the Wan port. I randomly loose access to the wan port and can't ev...

Re: gargolye v1.12 status overview, missing lan port connections speed

Hi,

I was able to edit the switchinfo.sh file to get the status showing. Thank you for this.
Is there any way to show the hostname or mac address of the device connected to the LAN?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Redirect url to another. CNAME?

Hi all,

This was working fine on 1.9.0 but doesn't seem to be working on 1.9.1.
Do I need to make any changes?

I had the following line in dhcp:
list addnhosts '/etc/redirect.local' \# added#' dhcp

And the file redirect.local contained:
192.168.1.1 airtel4grouter.cpe

IP Redirect

Hello,

To be able to access my modem I need 192.168.1.1 to go to http://airtel4grouter.cpe/
I am able to do this on my PC by adding the entry in the hosts file but cant do it on my phone/pad.
Is there a way to add the 'host' information in to Gargoyle?

Thanks.

QOS for Youtube

Hi,

I'm trying to limit Bandwidth for Youtube specifically. I setup an L7 Protocol for Youtube and added the QOS rules but it doesn't work.
It appears that this is due to Youtube using https instead of http.
Is there a workaround to this?

Re: Can't connect to LAN on Bridged Router

Thanks for your replies. DMZ didn't help Bridge WAN to LAN is already set on the secondary router. The secondary router has no settings other than being set as Client Bridge. Below is an image on how my routers are connected. There is no cable from one router to the other, they are connected through...
