Re: Dlink DIR-320 Support?

Do we still need to compile a version or does the current version support an up-to-date enough OpenWRT?
If so, which image should be used for flashing this device?

Re: Wireless Bridge mode loses DNS

You might be getting a bit confused here. You shouldn't be using dynamic DNS for what you're trying to achieve.
Dynamic DNS is a tool that allows you to set your WAN IP to a hostname, eg myhome.dyndns.org so you can access it from away from home/office.

Re: QoS the next generation

I've made no WAN changes during this testing so not sure what it got the 43ms from originally.

1ms is accurate, I'm on a wireless connection, and the gateway I connect to is just across town.

Re: Recording ALL data usage

Go to Status > Bandwidth usage.

Down bottom under Bandwidth Usage Table change Display Interval to something like days, then you'll be able to see total usage per day etc.

Re: QoS the next generation

You're right, that far too low.

What host does it actually ping?

Re: QoS the next generation

No trouble. I noticed I couldn't disable the " Enable active congestions control (Download Direction) " as when I unticked the checkbox and hit save changes it automatically ticked itself again. Idle: root@router:/# cat /tmp/qosmon.status State: WAIT Link limit: 900 (kbps) Fair Link limit:...

Re: QoS the next generation

Only default QOS classes as downlink, Skype, Voip and BT. I assume anything not manually specified falls into the default service class "fast"? Noone else using WAN. There was no change to QOS status during the download. Hit the ISP limit of just under 1mbit (speed showni nload). It didn't...

Re: QoS the next generation

Running this on my alix. My connection I'm testing this on: Max downstream (offpeak) 1mbit Max downstream (onpeak) burst to 1mbit, limited to 500kbit about 30 seconds after a large download is activated.
