Re: Version 1.14.0: Based on OpenWrt 22.03
So it gave you a warning and you ignored it? Depending on device it may have required a factory flash anyway. The architecture has changed significantly for such devices. Yep :D But only after doing uninstalling plugins, checking mode specs again and confirming the RAM and Storage lol, then thinkin...

Re: Version 1.14.0: Based on OpenWrt 22.03
Netgear WNDR3700v4 was bricked after the update. I think there may be an issue with the WNDR3700-v4 sysupgrade file. The update advised it is not compatible with the router even though the sysupgrade file was for the v4. UPDATE: Recovered Device using nmrpflash RECOVER: Restored Netgear Firmware. SU...

Re: QoS for PS4 (CoD)
COD will always be a mixed bag due to Client hosted games, you won't be able to eradicate it completely but can improve it using some of the information in the DSCP thread.

Re: Best settings for gaming QoS+DSCP
Post on the OpenWRT Facebook Group with Gargoyle DSCP and UDP Settings.

Re: Best settings for gaming QoS+DSCP
VanCleef's last post has moved the rules into the Gargoyle firewall default settings to avoid duplicates with I'm assuming is the intention of offering it to the Gargoyle Devs as a future tweak. You're basically doing a Search and Replace of the original content so It's important to verify you have ...

Re: Best settings for gaming QoS+DSCP
Hi VanCleef, I have been running various configurations over the last week and currently using the setup you put in the last post. Initially I had a ruleset that was covering pretty much every major First Person Shooter but it's cleaner running with the simplified ruleset. Using EF for all Pre, Post...

Re: Best settings for gaming QoS+DSCP
This is interesting since while Gargoyle is great for dispersing load evenly, just using QoS alone doesn't seem to be giving me the most effective result for QoS Prioritisation of Real Time Traffic. Reading through the DiffServ spec now (It's a lot to get my head around since I'm also quite new to t...
