Re: Bandwidth usage graphs: Bytes vs Bits
Great! When it comes to throughput it's traditionally measured in bits such as 1Gbps ethernet, 300Mbps 802.11n, or my 50Mbps down 5Mbps up cable service. However when it comes to volume such as file size, hard disk capacity, RAM, or your monthly internet cable provider usage cap, all are measured tr...

Bandwidth usage graphs: Bytes vs Bits
I've noticed that Bandwidth usage graph and other metrics are only in Bytes while QoS setting inputs are in bits. When it comes to Bandwidth I prefer bits, is it possible to change which units are used?
Thanks,

Re: My Net n750
Thanks, one more question, did anybody have problems with their router wired Ethernet ports being slow after the switch to Gargoyle. Mine seem to be WAY slower, when multitasking. Thanks again I have 1.9.0 installed on the wd my net n750 as my primary router, all ethernet ports negotiate at 1Gb to ...

Successfully installed on a wd my net n750 with preserved settings. Hopefully this will solve a reboot loop I've been experiencing with v1.7.1 after a few days when making a config change via the web gui. Thanks! I have had occasional reboot loops also. When this is happening, try and unplug the in...

Re: gargoyle-ispy 2015-March-27 05:44.torrent
WD my net n750 Good news it appears this version does not cause a reboot loop after a couple of days of uptime. So now that the my net n750 is reliable I tried to promote it from a simple WiFi hub to an internet router. But it appears the default network interface for WAN is incorrect /etc/config/ne...

Re: Ver 1.7 Channel Width of 40MHz @ 5GHz for Wireless N
Hi griftopia, I remember having a similar issue with a wd my net n750 and openwrt bb firmware using luci web gui. Basically I had to force the 40mhz channel width for 5Ghz via command line. Also I've only ran the n750 in AP mode not client bridge; do you notice the same issue in AP mode? In any cas...

Re: Successfully flashed WD My Net N750
Hi thanks for your input. I am going to give mine a try again as the first time i flashed 1.71 the wan kept going up and down. Interesting, I have not enabled the WAN yet. Also it appears v1.7.1 may not be as stable as I thought. After about 48hrs, I started to migrate services from my dependable D...
