I have added the brief CPU Utilization monitor to the overview screen. It uses Ajax to dynamically update the current load.
I could supply the patch... If you want it of course In what format?

CPU Utilization
If I type top in the console, I get a CPU usage ~50% (~46% sys, 2% nice, 2% user). The Gargoyle GUI only shows 0-2% CPU utilization in last minutes (1/5/15). Does it only count the user processes? If so, this does not make much sense, because all connection tracking happens in the kernel. --- Edit: ...

Bugreport: QoS - setting the max packet size
The number entered in Max Packet size in the QoS Upload configuration (I don't use QoS for download) will be saved as Min Packet size. Manual intervention in helps.
Bug discovered in 1.2.2, but probably is also present in 1.2.3.
Code: Select all
/etc/config/qos_gargoyle

Re: WRT54GL repeater, had to manually configure
I understand that I can do this in the "Wireless Bridge/Repeater" mode but I want the option of the routers each having their own encryption methods or keys (that may differ). Right now they're both open but I intend to change that if I can get things working correctly. Yep - that is the ...

Re: Can't log onto wrt54gl using default ip router addy
So I can't perform a hard reset (which if a firmware limitation seems a bit foolish). OpenWRT does not support reset to factory defaults. It has something more fancy - a fail safe mode, in which the router boots into factory defaults, but all settings are still there. You can fix what was broken an...

Re: WDS & Client Bridge Repeater w/wrt54gl
Eric - I just don't want to push too much... I was just wondering, if following acrobatic solution could work... 1. Getting the wl and nas (4.80.53) packages from 7.09 Kamikaze release 2. Compiling the kmod_wlcompat module for the old wl.o driver with the most recent kernel. Theoretically it should ...

Bugreport: wrong password handling
Gargoyle 1.2.2 for Linksys WRT54G. The GUI does not change the passwords correctly in some cases. It is definitely problem when changing the password, because using passwd does not generate this effect. Especially frustrating, when you just flashed your router, changed the password and cannot login ...

Re: WDS is killing me!
If you just need to bridge two devices, you can set it to client bridge and it should work. If you actually need a repeater, you might be better off going back to Tomato (for now). Or going back to OpenWRT 7.09. It worked that time and since you want it on the repeater, not the actual I-net router,...
