Re: Version 1.14.0: Based on OpenWrt 22.03

No luck with preserving settings on my Archer C7 v4. The wireless settings didn't show any 5GHz options, and when I switched it from AP+WDS to Access point, something in the JS glitched such that every available field became visible, making it impossible to make any further changes without filling ...

Re: Version 1.13.0 : Based on OpenWrt 19.07.8

Hi all, long time don't see you. Just to report successful flash + BUG on 1.13 with TP-LINK TL-WDR4300 (maybe this affects also TL-WDR3600 and others, as they are similar): WDR4300 was running Gargoyle v1.9.X just fine. Loaded defaults. Rebooted. Updated it to v1.12 NOT preserving settings on GUI. L...

Re: [TST] TP-Link WDR4300 - Testing Support

Have anyone tried Gargoyle v1.5.7 (or newer) on TP-LINK WDR4300 or WDR4310?

Which hardware version? v1.0, 1.1, 1.2....?
Any comments?

I don't have one (yet), nice to hear from people that have already tried. Thanks.

Re: [TST] TP-Link WDR4300 - Testing Support

OpenWRT support for this router is only in trunk. Gargoyle works with released versions of OpenWRT. Rumors abound that the next release of OpenWRT "Attitude Adjustment" is imminent. Expect Gargoyle releases short there after. pbix thanks for reply! Yes, I know Gargoyle only support releas...

Re: [TST] TP-Link WDR4300 - Testing Support

 Nice and cheap router! Think it'll be my next one! 128MB RAM 8MB FLASH 2 USB 2.4Ghz + 5Ghz Simultaneous CPU 560MHz AR9344 US$70 to US$100 almost worldwide MUCH better than wr1043nd for only a few bucks more. This one does deserve Gargoyle firmware images. ;) OpenWrt Wiki: http://wiki.openwrt...

Re: Version 1.4.0 -- New Stable Branch

:?: Have anyone tried FON 2100/2200 (8MB Flash/16MB RAM) with v1.4.0? If so, what are your impressions? On Gargoyle Status page how is the typical memory usage? I have one Fon runing on my parent's home and I plan to update it later this week when I travel there. Just as a comparison I've re...

Re: Setting QoS for VoIP?

My QoS settings. Works 100% for VoIP. This is ok for any codec. (Fonera and 1MB down/300up) First you have to configure all your ATA/softphones to do: SIP signaling on ports 5060~5062 RTP packets on ports 8000~8050 Now in Gargoyle: QoS (Upload) Default Service Class: Medium Total (Upload) Bandwidth:...

Re: VPN

I follow that. DD-WRT and Tomato for instance both have easy configurable VPN Clients (PPTP or OpenVPN). OpenWRT does not. Worst than that. In fact if you google internet and search OpenWRT forum/Wiki you'll notice that VPN is a mess in OpenWRT discussions out there. The majority of people since Kam...

Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!

D-LINK DIR-320 I myself have not tried yet, but I know it works for sure. See Gargoyle section here: http://dir-320.weebly.com By the way, this is a very NICE and cheap option! It is 4MB FLASH, 32MB RAM + 1 USB ! :D Worldwide (eBay, free shipping from HK) it is US$60. In Rusia seems it is U$50. Othe...
