Re: TL-WR1043ND Version 5

I have the TL-WR1043ND v5 and currently has v1.11.0 installed. I'm trying to upgrade to v1.12.0 so I downloaded this file, gargoyle_1.12.0-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043n-v5-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin. When processing the upgrade, I got the following message... "Firmware contains a bootloader. Your rout...

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06

If you plug in a USB stick, go to the System->USB Storage page, click Unmount All, then follow the instructions on the same page (it should refresh after unmount) to setup external plugin root and swap. To remove plugin sources, you can comment out the lines in /etc/opkg.conf Any recommendation of ...

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06

Just want to point out something cosmetic. The bandwidth usage table and display months interval. The displayed months are shifted...like Jan 2019 is actually Feb 2019 and Feb 2019 is actually Mar 2019.

Yes, on the router do the port forwarding range from 55536 to 55663 and it should work.
Adding the port forwarding range works.

Since the previous build doesn't require the port forwarding range setting, does this mean we need to do this moving forward?

Thanks.

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06

If he’s talking about a separate FTP server on his network (not within Gargoyle) then this is the wrong advice. If you are able to authenticate, this indicates the port forward is working fine. What is likely happening is that once it has authenticated it attempts to establish a connection on a dif...

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06

Try to enable port 20 (data port). Look for and enable the range of passive ports. In Gargoyle, enable "Allow Access to FTP From WAN" + passive ports. I added a new port forward rule for port 20...not working. How do you enable "Allow Access to FTP From WAN"? I can't find it any...

Re: Version 1.11.0 : Based on OpenWrt 18.06

Hi, Just upgraded this new version from v1.10 on my wr1043nd v2. So far everything is fine except 1 problem. The port forwarding to my ftp server doesn't seem to work correctly. The rule is simply just port 21 to an ip. The same rule works before the upgrade. My other forwarded ports seem to be work...

Re: TL-WR841ND - Flashed ok but..

I had a Dlink DIR-613 E3 and was flashed with 1.4.7 and everything is working as expect. I then decide to upgrade to 1.6.1 and I have encountered the same problem ccf does. I followed the instructions to reset to default and reflash and now everything is working again....until I rebooted the router....
