Re: Wireless bridge
Reporting back. I upgraded to 1.10.0, but still no IP through DHCP for the client, strangely bridge got on Relay IP Address? Then I changed the wireless bridge to another AP2 and to my surprise the client got an IP? Then I looked for the difference between those 2 AP's and AP1 had no gateway into th...

Re: Wireless bridge
Thanks Lantis and d3fz for your quick reply's. The TP-Link TL-WR841N/NDv8 has the following setup: For the bridge IP I have chosen IP address 172.16.0.1 (I am not using this private subnet anywhere). It joins an AP 192.168.5.10, which is connected through a switch to a router. I has a dhcp server th...

From what I've read Gargoyle should have this. But here a wireless bridge (atheros) which comnects to a AP (broadcom) doesn't give ip's on mac address from a router that's behind the wireless brige. The moment I replace Gargoyle with dd-wrt it works. Can anyone explain mel what I've missed. From wha...

Re: Upgrade 1.7.0 -> 1.7.1 Bricked TP-Link TL-WR841N ver 8.4
I used USB TTL converter and restored OpenWRT using http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd Then using LuCI I flashed it to Gargoyle 1.7.0 all went well . Then I Gargoyle 1.7.0 and upgraded to 1.7.1 with the try to preserve on and again it was bricked. So to my opinion there is something wron...

thnx for your reply but I tried it but that doesn't work. When I switch it on the power led gets on and after that all led's go on and off. Powering into failsafe (nice function btw) is gone.ispyisail wrote:failsafe reset
