Re: ACC off when QOS classifcation not being used?

In my experience it takes time for the limit to raise after a minRTT class has become inactive. You need to saturate the connection and the max speed will slowly climb, I think it automatically resets to max speed if the entire connection goes idle.

Re: Stable hardware suggestion with Gargoyle

I have a wr841n v8 on 1.5.11 and it's great.

Re: Setting Mess / Partial wipe

I made this mistake with qos - having 2 browsers on the window concurrently and modifying values. I managed to mess around with it and salvage it from backups. Check /etc/qos_gargoyle, mine was truncated so I just restored the missing parts from an old backup. I can't remember if there was anything ...

Re: Installing a Gargoyle Router into a single WiFi Cable Mo

Re: Worth Upgrading? - Gaming pings

I've got 4Mb DSL and Gargoyle is really much better than I was expecting with regards to pings. I have the ACC ping set at 30 and regular browsing doesn't show any effect on ingame pings. If you really start to saturate the line it will spike to 100+ ms. ACC can take some time to adjust and it's not...
