plugin to test bandwidth available for the router?

Is there any plugin that is available to test the bandwidth available between the router and the internet providers? For example, I can hook up a laptop to the incoming internet cable and do a speed test, just wondering if there was a way to do it from the router itself. I saw this for OpenWRT. Will...

For whatever reason, the 2.4GHz network crashed on me this evening. I was streaming a video on my local network (Computer with Plex to Smart TV), and when I went to go to the next video, the Smart TV couldn't connect to the Wifi. Sure enough my phone verified that my 2.4GHz network couldn't be found...
