ACC stuck in CHECK mode usually means you’ve chosen a bad target who is not reachable or not responding to pings. Try something like “8.8.8.8” which we know works.

Hey guys, i really need your help with something. i have Netgear WNDR4300 v1 it hasn't been functioning properly for a while specifically the congestion control. usually when that used to happen with other routers i'd clear the nvram and all would be hunky dory but, for this one here; when i boot it...

Could someone advise on how to clear NVRAM for WNDR4300?
it doesnt work like it did on TP-Link devices.
on telnet when executing firstboot or mtd erase nvram, it doesnt respond.
my router is messed up and gives messed readings and i cannot reset it.

i am having trouble upgrading TL-WR741ND V4 to gargoyle it failed before and i barely was able to get it working again switching chips with hot air from a similar router during flashing and it worked.
is there a safe way to upgrade to gargoyle?
