Re: OpenWRT 23.05 - New Gargoyle?

Fair enough! that's what i call progress, when developers listen to the needs of end users ;) I tested out the plugin after connecting phone and it seems to be working out of the box also with Android! encountered some small problems with DHCPv6 connection with older IPv4 devices but I managed to so...

Re: OpenWRT 23.05 - New Gargoyle?

yes i just saw that, but it only installs the necessary files on the router, you still have to go through all those command lines in telnet to be able to bring up the connection... I was wondering if it could be implemented in the UI graphical interface, it would be nice if in the "Connections&...

Re: OpenWRT 23.05 - New Gargoyle?

one quick question, if there will be a new gargoyle version, could it be possible to implement USB Tethering directly into the user interface without using the line commands?

Re: Version 1.9.2

So at least for me, all these new versions with all the extra functions added are simply useless if they cannot deliver the most important thing - wireless SPEED If speed is your thing stick with stock firmware. 1.9.x series is the most stable Gargoyle ever for routers with more than 4MB flash. I'm...

Lantis wrote:Why are you complaining about speeds on a congested band?
the area i'm living in does not have congested 2,4 ghz band; even if it would have, old vers. of gargoyle 1.5.8 or 1.6.2 have much better speeds with same band, same channel, same congestion ...

Re: Version 1.9.2

Hi, I am curious about one (major) thing; like everyone knows, we purchase our routers and upgrade to newer generations mainly because of their wireless speed capability; how come that these new versions ALWAYS fade away in terms of wireless link speed compared to older versions line 1.5.8 and 1.6.2...

Re: Version 1.8.0 - Stable

I'll reply in that thread. thanks for your reply, in my case, my network config is nothing special, the router is set up as an AP on 2.4 ghz with google servers as dns servers 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 and a dns host (on dyndns.com) which it has to update on every modem restart; this modem that is tied u...

Re: Version 1.7.0 - Barrier Breaker
