Awesome looking interface!
Flashed upgrade over 1.9.1 on TP-Link WR1043ND V1.8
Interface is nice and snappy - loving the cleaner layout look.
Anyone know why OpenWRT went on hiatus?
Haven't seen any development on them for a few months?

Re: Support for MT7620A(N)
If you're going to get one of these, this would be the one: http://www.amazon.com/SunRise%C2%AE2000mW-Enterprise-1200Mbps-OpenWRT-Wireless/dp/B0144GNPUM Removable/replaceable antennas 2 Watt power output! (Not sure if that is true) Looks like most of the MT76* routers only have USB 2.0 Not the great...

Re: Support for TP-LINK C7R Archer TL-WDR7500
Anytime you are messing around with routers and flashing third-party firmware, the #1 thing you need to find out is if there is Serial port access to the router. No matter how much you botch it up, 99% of the time you can recover via serial recovery and re-flash the original firmware. BUT 1) you nee...

Re: Building for a specific model (DIR-615 rev.C1)
The DIR-6xx series don't have full 4MB of flash. There is some reserved space for the router. You can only make images about 3.5MB in size. With all the addons from Gargoyle (on top of the OpenWRT base) the firmware images are too large for 4MB flash routers. Your best option is to use pure OpenWRT ...

Re: Help!make error
Are you still having the error?
I just did a fresh git pull of the current Gargoyle source and currently
doing a make FULL_BUILD=true -- have not seen any issues so far.
Trying to see how long the full compile takes and get a benchmark.

Re: TP Link WR841N reboots randomly
You may be getting overheating issues with the router. Make sure it is getting plenty of airflow. If you can - see if you can put a small fan blowing air at it. When you have all the downloads going, you are putting the most stress on the CPU, and if the heatsink (if there is one) isn't fastened cor...

Re: cannot connect to wifi, must restart the router
The Wireless is MUCH better in Chaos Calmer Try Gargoyle 1.8 on your router Since the firmware is so old, you will have to do this: 1) Download the 1.8 firmware (sysupgrade file) 2) Backup your old config (so you can view it later to copy settings) 3) Reset the router to defaults 4) Flash the 1.8 sy...

Re: router drops out
Not sure if you still have the problem but you might need to re-configure from a fresh flash. Download the latest Gargoyle and update, but DO NOT keep settings Make sure you re-configure fresh, and do it in steps. Don't enable QoS but configure any other settings you need, then start doing tests. On...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124575 Might need to look into a router with dual core 1GHZ+ processor The router CPU has to process all internal functions plus bandwidth With the speed you have, you may need one of the newest top-of-the-line routers to take advantage of you...
