Re: Successfully flashed a router? Tell Us!

Successfully flashed Buffalo WZR-600DHP with Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H image (gargoyle_1.5.10-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-ag300h-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin). The router seems pretty solid. The download and upload speeds are pretty much the same as using wired connection. Love the option Gargoyle firmware gives o...

Re: Installing Gargoyle on Buffalo WZR-600DHP

Thanks for the reply. The installation instructions must be similar to WZR-HP-G300NH. The installation instructions for G300NH tells us to use "squashfs-sysupgrade.bin" and not the "squashfs-factory.bin". I was under the impression that if upgrading form a firmware other than gar...

I tried searching for this and couldn't find anybody who has installed Gargoyle without problems, even though it's on the list of supported / tested routers. Connected to wifi but no internet access

I recently changed my ISP. The previous ISP ( Bright House Network - BHN ) was Cable internet , now I it's DSL from AT&T. In both the cases, the TP-Link with Gargoyle was connected to modem/ router. When I was with BHN, I had no problems at all connecting to internet using wifi broadcast from TP...

Quotas & connected hosts not working

Hi, Since the last few days, I have been having a strange problem with gargoyle web ui. When I click on the connected hosts under status, for some wireless hosts gargoyle doesn't display the IP address ( its displayed as unknown) and also the the bandwidth distribution doesn't work. I guess because ...

Installing Gargoyle over OpenWRT

Hi , Can someone tell me if Gargoyle could be installed over existing installation of OpenWRT. I have seen a similar thread, which says it can be done. However my question is , can gargoyle be installed over any version of OpenWRT or can it be installed only over specific builds of OpenWRT? Thanks, ...

Reverting back to factory firmware on TP-Link TL-WDR4300

Hi , I recently bought a TL-WDR4300 router. The router performance with factory firmware was terrible, hence flashed Gargoyle OpenWRT. After the flash, the performance was much better ( especially stability ), however the download speeds on the wireless would still fluctuate b/w 10 -16 Mbps. Hence I...
