Re: Version 1.6.0
Haven't tried 1.6.0 yet. Just letting you guys try for me. Tip, I usually do not preserve settings but back up settings before flash. Then just refer to the backup text files for settings. Not too much trouble to manually fix up the settings from the text files.

Re: Version 1.5.11 - Translations
Ok i've upgraded my Buffalo 300nh and my WNDR3700v2 from 1.5.10 to 1.5. 11 and preserved settings. No issues noted yet. Just wondering how miniDLNA works with a rather large collection of music and movie files. I installed miniDLNA (or was it some other DLNA server) on Gargoyle about a year ago and ...

Current config is Gateway DNS disabled Fixed IP (same as IP assigned by router/gateway for the device). One of LAN ports wired to LAN port on router/gateway. SSID and password for WiFi ...

Re: Version 1.5.8 - USB Storage with FTP
OK I've finally reverted to 1.5.6 on my WNDR3700v2. I can confirm that there is definitely something wrong with 1.5.8 (I never tried 1.5.7), probably the WiFi but might be the router. Some devices and applications downloaded extremely slowly. Particularly my Android phone when downloading podcasts w...

Re: Version 1.5.8 - USB Storage with FTP
I have wndr3700v2 I haven't tested to narrow it down but it seems that since upgrading from 1.5.6 to 1.5.8 a couple weeks ago that my WiFi has been very slow. Not sure if it's the firmware or perhaps just the sites I visit as sometimes it seems to be pretty fast. If you think there's a bug that emer...

Re: A good router for Gargoyle
I'll kindly respond to your question, however you won't really get an answer 'cause I'm wondering the same thing. Which router? If you read the release notes for Gargoyle 1.5.6 you'll notice that one router with only 8MB of flash couldn't have the Tor feature 'cause of lack of flash space. (though o...
