Re: Version 1.12.0 : New stable version
I'm not sure if I should post here or start a new thread elsewhere, but I've just (finally) upgraded from 1.10.0 to 1.12.0 on my 2 routers (Archer C7 and Netgear WNDR3700). I have VOIP running on the latter. Prior to upgrading, I did a backup of the 1.10.0 settings, plus copied all the DHCP settings...

Re: Preventing manual IP addresses overriding quota ranges
Thanks ispyisail In the end I used bitdefender Have a look at family pack. Wouldn't this only be applicable for one device with multiple accounts though, as opposed to multiple devices? I had a bit more of a play with things. I booted up my 2-in-1 and it connected via dhcp and had internet access. I...

Re: Preventing manual IP addresses overriding quota ranges
Just reporting back on this. I noticed today that the router's list of connected hosts included my daughter's iphone, even though she wasn't at home. Checking the MAC address of the device when she did get home indicated that it wasn't her iphone at all. It was my son's iphone and he'd put in a stat...

Re: Preventing manual IP addresses overriding quota ranges
I did notice that when I was going through and entering my settings last night, so I ticked it in the hope that it would solve my problem. I've given it a test this morning and it does seem to do the job. It let my 2-in-1 connect to the gargoyle router but it didn't provide internet access. So it se...

It was 1.9.0 but I'm just in the process of upgrading to 1.9.2.

Preventing manual IP addresses overriding quota ranges
Hi I've been a happy gargoyle user for quite a few years now. I initially came across it when looking for a way to stop my teenage son using way more than his share of the internet monthly bandwidth. Once I got my gargoyle router set up with DHCP setting fixed ip addresses based on MAC addresses, pl...

Just reporting back that I installed the unifi over the weekend and everything appears to be working just fine.

Re: 2 independent gargoyle routers
What do you think of the unifi router? Seems pretty good. The Lite version is much smaller than the standard ones I saw at the start of the year in my mate's place. I still have to install it properly yet. At the moment it's just sitting on a side table with the ethernet cable run out and strung up...
