had the same problem. but it didn't happen until the power went out and then came back on the router was showing same signs. tried tftp and couldn't get it to send so i used this after setting a static ip within the subnet of the router. i also pinged the routers ip while i unplugged it and powered ...

one thing i would like in quotas is a option to add a set of times the quotas are turned off. i know since i have hughesnet i have a quota on my downloads so the quota feature is nice. however we also have a time ( 1:00am to 6:00am cst ) where the quota's do not apply. i don't know how hard it would...

sorry i assumed that setting ip by mac address restricted the ip number used by the machine however i'm glad you corrected that for his benefit as well as my own knowledge for future. thanks

if he does figure it out. set the ip statically with his mac address. unless he spoofs his mac address he will be unable to set his own ip

why run both? personally i don't use dmz. its to open for my taste, especially with all the problems online anyway. upnp however i don't trust either since its not really hard to get passed. i prefer to setup my own port forwarding and only enable with when i'm using that particular program or servi...
