Re: Reboot loop / Timezone BW usage bug
Seems like I have just run into this problem with my WRT1900ACS using the latest firmware 1.13.0. As mentioned before, resetting it fixes it. I am using it in Melbourne and we have daylight savings a week ago. 1) The router keep will keep rebooting, basically as soon as PPPoE is established, i.e. wi...

Re: Email,SMS notification
A few suggestions without writing a script
1) Simply ask them to check the usage from the router page, login not required
2) Throttle their speed, not cut it off when limited is reached
3) Consider changing your quota limit to reset per day/hour/week rather than per month

Re: purchase gargoyle pocket router
My guess is, sales are greater with the cheaper router Well, I have been selling Gargoyle routers in Australia and no one buy the more expensive models yet. The problem with the pocket gargoyle router is delivery could possibly cost the same or more than the router itself which is valued at US$24.9...

Re: purchase gargoyle pocket router
Hi Lantis, do you know why the Gargoyle store here is only selling the pocket router? At 400Mhz cpu and single 2.4Ghz antenna, its spec seems far too low. I know the TPLink TL-WR1043ND used to be sold there but not anymore. For the TL-WR1043ND, I know the most likely reason is because the current mo...

Re: TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND V2 WAN port problem
Wow dude I have never herd of any thing like this. I don't know what to suggest you have tried all the things I can think of! Actually, I tried more than I wrote. I tried using custom MAC too but doesn't make any difference. WAN via wireless works too. I don't know why I can't get the ethernet port...

Re: TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND V2 WAN port problem
Feels like hardware problem but I can't show it using factory firmware. The problem only exhibit itself under Gargoyle firmware using WAN port for internet. It seems to work just fine if the WAN port is configured for LAN. Very puzzling.ispyisail wrote:Hardware problem?

Re: TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND V2 WAN port problem
I also tried swapping the WAN port to LAN port1 but it makes no difference, i.e. WAN port still not working. I do the port swap by modifying config/network, swapping 4 and 5 like this. (I have tested every port and somehow 4 means the LAN port1.) config switch_vlan option device 'switch0' option vla...

I have a TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND V2 router on hand which exhibit strange behaviour that I cannot fix or figure out why. This is the first time I have seen this.
