Re: QoS (Download) Rules Disappear
This problem is known to happen if you have two or more browser windows viewing the QoS page simultaneously and a setting change is made. All versions have this issue. Thank you, pbix. That's exactly what I had - one tab for changing the settings and another one watching how the change affected the...

Re: qos_gargoyle gets truncated?
Where would I try that? I see "Destination IP" only and that field doesn't seem to like anything but a single, valid IP address.pbix wrote:Have you tried using CIDR format in your rules to specify the entire subnet?

Re: QoS (Download) Rules Disappear
Strangely enough, since I went to 1.6.1 my Upload rules started to disappear. They are after the Download rules in the same qos_gargoyle file. I did reset, reloaded older config, wrote the rules on the router. Nothing helps - I'd delete one Upload rule and the qos_gargoyle file would get smaller, tr...

qos_gargoyle gets truncated?
Sorry for posting this again. Couldn't figure out a way to move my post from the 1.6.1 news category to the QoS Issues one. Is there a limitation on the number of QoS rules or I'm experiencing a bug? The qos_gargoyle file has all of my download_rule_*00 lines but the upload_rule_*00 ones get trunca...

Re: Version 1.6.1 - Heartbleed Fix
Is there a limitation on the number of QoS rules or I'm experiencing a bug? The qos_gargoyle file has all of my download_rule_*00 lines but the upload_rule_*00 ones get truncated as if the file cannot be more than certain number of chars. I can vi qos_gargoyle directly on the router and it appears t...

Re: Version 1.5.10
This has been happening with some of my android devices. I can confirm this on a WNDR3700v1, versions 1.5.10 AND 1.4.2 Interestingly it does not appear happen to an android 2.2.1 device. It happens most often with my Nexus 4, and half as often with my Nexus 7. The same issue is not present with an ...

Re: Version 1.5.10
[*]Fewer wireless dropouts My Android devices still have the issue where they get disconnected after a while and would not reconnect until I turn off/on their wireless. It started to happen with 1.5.6+ and my Galaxy Nexus (flashed several ROMs) and HTC Amaze. I've since added Note 2 and Nexus4 (CM1...

Re: Version 1.5.10
wndr3700v2 flashed to 1.5.10, enabled USB and samba, attached my external hd formatted ext4, tried to copy a few files onto Win7 machine wired to the router 1) max speed I see is 2.2Mb/s ... where's the bottleneck? Win7 is wired at 100Mbps, USB2 drive is reading from, not writing to 2) A few attempt...

Bitcasa and QoS - anyone?
I signed up for Bitcasa and let it loose on one of my PCs. That kills Gargoyle and all of the traffic both ways. I see tons of https connections to/from many of the Amazon's cloud servers and can't figure out a way to throttle those so backups go to the bottom of my traffic stack. Anyone got that on...

Re: Version 1.5.8 - USB Storage with FTP
I don't see anyone complaining or expecting anything. I only stated that the traffic in the forum is low, compared let's say to the latest thread on jelly beans 4.2... or dd-wrt in the days wrt54g was new. Times change, I'm back to 1.5.6 and it's rock solid for what it offers.
