Hello,
just found out, that openwrt can do "/etc/init.d/service disable" to prevent unneeded programs to start at reboot. Thios should save memory, in my case i do not use ntfs, samba, miniupnpd or nfsd.
Is gargoyle compliant to openwrt so that disabling work?

No space left on device
Have 1.5.10 on a tp-link 1043nd. I found out that openwrt delivers a privoxy package, a tiny cleaning proxy. So i added the package and it works well. But the physical resources of the router are filled near to limit. It's not possible to add a better config by "no space left on device". B...

Account monthly WAN throughput
1.5.9 on tp-link 1043nd
2 years ago i had openwrt on my router, with installed vnstat all WAN traffic was accounted and saved to a usb key.
What's the way to do the same on gargoyle?

Re: 1043ND Add WAN Port to Switch?
Are you setting up the 1043nd as a secondary ap to extend wireless coverage? The 1043nd is the only AP in my network, but it hangs behind a cablerouter that make nat and dhcp for all the network. So gargoyle should only bridge the lan but not the wireless. We miss a third button "AP / wired br...

Re: TL-WR1043ND Non-Wireless Bridge Mode
Yep exactly this results to my feature request for gargoyle. You cannot have a wired (L2) switch or (L3) router without a wireless bridge. In dd-wrt you can configure this separated, in gargoyle this feature is missing up to 1.5.7. I hope this will be implementet soon, cause dd-wrt use an ugly wifi ...

BUG: regulatory.bin defect up to 1.5.5
This is a never fixed openwrt showstopper, with a simple solution. In gargoyle it exist up to 1.5.5 and maybe in 1.5.6. Try: Switch regulatory domain to germany / europa. Now try to set channel 12 or channel 13, they did not exist in the slider. This comes from a buggy regulatory.bin. Solution is he...

Re: WAN Port to LAN (flat L2 Switch)
Okay so the basics for the option seems to exist, but i have to set it to 3G and plug a dongle. So please add Internet/WAN option - Plain L2 Switch (Bridged) - WAN Ethernet Port add to Switch dd-wrt has also an option to use a 5 port switch or router, only nat and firewall was disabled. You can furt...
