Re: wifi survey, themes & captive portal questions [split]
BashfulBladder, Well I was able to successfully compile the Wifi Survey per your instructions! I still need to fool around with doing a complete "custom" full Gargoyle image that includes this package, but am happy I was able to compile the package and get it installed on the WNDR3700v1 us...

Re: wifi survey, themes & captive portal questions [split]
BashfulBladder, >Currently, you have to compile it. I don't provide an .ipk for users to install. Are there any special instructions to get it compiled within the overall Gargoyle setup in 1.5.10? I tried the following steps but think I'm messing a step or two: 1) Did the following to get the source...

Re: Version 1.5.10
I was able to successfully install 1.5.10 on my WNDR3700v1. I wasn't able to import my settings back in cleanly from 1.5.9 (they imported, but my 2.4ghz network barely let anything get connected). I reset all to defaults and reset my configuration manually and everything's working great. So far so g...

Re: Version 1.5.8 - USB Storage with FTP
Couple quick comments: 1) I compiled my own 1.5.7 which allowed me to access the 153 channel in the US successfully on WNDR3700v1 (default Gargoyle binaries did not allow as they defaulted to World (00) and not US). Very cool now... 2) Gargoyle 1.5.7 was the first firmware I tried in awhile (OpenWRT...

Re: WNDR3700v1 (US) 5ghz Channels Not Right
Just a quick followup - I did finally manage to get the 5ghz channels back, but I had to compile the source myself with the "CONFIG_ATH_USER_REGD=y" setting. Basically I followed DoesItMatter's instructions here: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3231 I think I ...

Re: WNDR3700v1 (US) 5ghz Channels Not Right
Actually never did get this resolved in Gargoyle. I've noticed that Gargoyle only allows my WNDR3700v1 to go up to channel 48 on 5mhz. At 48 and below the blue light stays on and flickers, and inSSIDer sees the network. If I set it to any channel above 48 the blue light comes on and off immediately,...

WNDR3700v1 (US) 5ghz Channels Not Right
I am having a problem accessing more than four 5ghz channels using Gargoyle 1.5.4. I am running a WNDR3700v1 router, bought and run in the US. However, it appears that Gargoyle is defaulting me to "World (00)" instead of US, and I cannot use any 5ghz channels over channel 48. Note that wit...
