In terms of plugins and scripts, that sounds beyond my skills and I'm assuming what I am doing is probably quite unusual so unlikely others will code this so just something they need to be aware of.

Ok mine was a red herring, the devices I was testing are sharing Mac addresses tch tch. Call raised with manufacturer.

Out of interest what version of gargoyle and what was the device. I'm having a similar issue with some android tablets (5.1). Thanks Lantis - is there a way of telling when it has finished. ie if I can login is it done or could it still be upgrading. If logging in is fine then thats one relief. Thanks ispy that helps, any ideas why it doesn't get to the completed message. I'm using chrome so I'll try a different browser. At the moment it just shows the upgrading message. For the logging , the pictures and cat I am happy on. The logread and webconsole error log I can't see how todo. Can you advise or let me have a link with more information. I've had a Google and can't see how you do those.
