Re: Gargoyle 1.15.x OpenWrt 24.10 - 2026-01-28

In my case, I should have an SLAAC for pppoe-wan as well as a delegated IPv6 address for br-lan. They won't exist a few days later. At that t...

Hi Lantis,
OpenWrt has migrated to 24.10.5. Do you consider to upgrade Gargoyle 1.15.x accordingly? Merry Xmas and thanks.

Thanks Lantis. New build works well for me. You may update download link in the first post as it still points to 20250803.

Hi Lantis, Please check below iwinfo at run time and the Wi-Fi configuration. 2.4GHz is set to channel width: 40MHz 2nd chan. below but iwinfo reports HT mode: HT20 . Shouldn't it be HT40? I'm running 1.15.X (Built 20250803-0103 git@6f4f44fb). Thanks. iwinfo phy0-ap0 ESSID: "MyWRT" Access ...

Checking the logs on your device, and the output of “iwinfo” can verify on your end. Thanks Lantis. Will check the primary channel with iwinfo next time router is rebooted. Current iwinfo shows 149 is the channel as expected. P.S. Same Windows client never experiences channel 153 when router is run...

Hi Lantis, On 1.15.x/OpenWrt 24.10 firmware I find something strange with 5GHz Wi-Fi. Below is a partial setting in my /etc/config/wireless. config wifi-device 'radio0' option type 'mac80211' option path 'soc/soc:pcie/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0' option band '5g' option channel '149' option...

Re: WRT3200ACM v1 in 2025
The WRT3200ACM is still a powerful device, but it has wifi issues and the driver development was abandoned. It’s ok most of the time, but in certain use cases it can be a poor experience. Can you please describe in short what the Wi-fi issue is and which specific use case it becomes poor? I would r...
