Thank you Lantis.
Factory image, you mean original TP-Link firmware?
What do you mean why stop at 1.14?
I did not see a newer version.

TP-LINK Archer C7 v5, update from 1.12 to 1.14
Hello,
I have currently
Model: TP-LINK Archer C7 v5
Gargoyle Version:1.12.0
Can I just update to 1.14 preserving the settings or I need to re-configure everything after updating?
Which file can I use?
gargoyle_1.14.0-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Re: DNS
I do not have any DNS in my Home network. I use static IPs and I wanted to use only DNS from Internet provider. I did not make any changes on the command line level. "Force Router DNS" is not set. I will try to set it and see what happens. What is interesting that I have many HP Elitebooks...

DNS
Hello, I have currently "Default Servers specified by ISP" set for DNS. However, if I use Auto DNS mode in iPhone or IPad then I do not get connected to Internet. I must always manually enter the DNS "192.168.1.1". Then it works. I get Internet from Cable Company and in my Router...

Re: TP-Link Archer AX90, AX6600
Many thanks Lantis. I did set it now from scratch and it seems good. I have to bother you again with some questions: 1) In the old router, I used SSH to disable QoS. Do I need again to do it here or it is enough in the Web Interface? Doing that in the old router improved the speed significantly. I t...

I bought now AX23 V1. Which gargoyle firmware file do you recommend to install on it?

Re: TP-Link Archer AX90, AX6600
Many thanks for the detailed feedback. Was very helpful. I need always to check that the router is also available in Europe and works with Cable Internet Provider. I see on the link with the new devices for example: RT-AX54 Any idea if it is the same like ASUS RT-AX5400 AiMesh Dual Band WiFi 6 I see...

Re: TP-Link Archer AX90, AX6600
Is there any update regarding newer routers from TP-Link or so, where gargoyle can be installed?
