- 2.4Ghz Wireless will not use the extra channels if set to any of the 40Mhz options, but keeps working in 20Mhz mode. Even when no overlapping or only 1 overlapping networks exist. - 5Ghz Wireless will not work unless channel width is set to 20Mhz. Most likely a regulatory problem. To dig deeper w...

Hi, Just tested this build in a C7 v2, clean install. First of all thanks for the hard work on this amazing firmware. I see the following problems or special considerations (I can help debug if needed): - 2.4Ghz Wireless will not use the extra channels if set to any of the 40Mhz options, but keeps w...

Re: Linksys wrt320n install
Gonna resurrect the thread again... Just installed Gargaoyle to WRT320N coming from DD-WRT, just flashed the generic broadcom image gargoyle_1.9.0-brcm47xx-generic-squashfs.trx Since OpenWRT added support for it last year I thought it should work and it did :P Haven't tested it thoroughly but all se...

Re: Barrier Breaker Progress
Just flashed it to my WDR4300 v1.7, I was having a lot of Wifi performance issues in 1.6.2, this new version has been working really well for the last 8 hours, no wifi drops or slow downs.
Nice Work

Re: Qos exempt class
Hi, Thanks GoUser for your collaboration. Including the commands in firewall.user does not work, after a lot of testing I realized that even when the commands in firewall.user are executed during the router or firewall start-up the rules are rewritten after its executed when the router is starting u...

Re: Qos exempt class
Hi, Great info, I was a DD-WRT user and I did use the "Exempt" class to do what is described in this post and I was looking for a way to do the same in Gargoyle. I have just tried the command iptables -t mangle -R qos_ingress 2 -s ! 10.0.0.0/8 -j IMQ --todev 0 , replacing the IP address/Ma...

Re: Gargoyle for Dlink DIR-615 E4
The hardware is closer between DIR-600 and DIR-615 E4 than DIR-615 C1
You can check: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir- ... 2.revision
DIR-615 C1 has Atheros AR9130 CPU / AR9102 Radio
DIR-600 / DIR-615 both have Atheros AR7240 CPU and AR9285 / AR9287 radios.

Reverting back to stock and then flashing to Gargoyle with Factory image is the way I did it, for me it seems better

Re: DIR-601 (DIR-600 firmware) no Internet Access
If I'm not mistaken the DIR-600 B is Ralink chipset, so it will not work, I would go to DD-WRT (Build 15962) for that hardware since Gargoyle doesn't have a build that supports Ralink.
