Re: Bridge Mode - How to do it right

Hello experts, I am in the same pool. I have a router with gargoyle (1.10.0) which I want to use as a range extender. For this I opted to set the router in 'Wireless Bridge/Repeater'. I have a primary router with IP 10.10.10.1 and 255.255.255.0 as netmask. I have mapped 10.10.10.2 with the MAC of my...

As per my last, please chase this with OpenWrt for support and then I will look at it here.
If you check this it is already supported

Your patch doesn't match his.
The DTS name is incorrect, i haven't checked further than that.

Anyway, would rather see this supported upstream and then we can work on it here. Let me know if that occurs in the future.
Can you please provide any update.

Re: Is TP-Link Archer C5 v4 actually supported?

Hello Lantis, I renamed the dts file based on the the other filenames assuming that to be some standards. I made one more commit to rename the dts file to the original one and here is the link to the updated patch (incase it helps you) https://github.com/ljnath/gargoyle/blob/1.12/patches-generic/130...

Re: Is TP-Link Archer C5 v4 actually supported?

No, the C5 v4 has not been done. In theory it would be straight forward to do so as we already have a MT7620 profile to build from, but it would require someone to go and look into the how and send a patch to me. I have ported a patch from openwrt to gargoyle 1.12. Here is the link to my git commit...

Re: Is TP-Link Archer C5 v4 actually supported?

Sorry to bump this old thread but has anyone added support for this router.
This is a pretty popular router and i really want to use gargoyle on it due to its ease of use and and quota functionality.

Cheers!
