I configured a couple wr841n routers tonight in wireless bridge mode, and the AP they were connecting to had DHCP set to issue IPs from 192.169.1.10 to 254. I configured a couple routers tonight in wireless bridge mode and next to bridge IP is says "must be outside AP range" or something to that effect, when I'm fairly certain it should say "must be in AP range".

The version 5 gargoyle firmware for the WR841ND works just fine with a version 7.1. I have it installed and everything is working fine. From what I have read the version 7.2 has the same hardware as the 7.1 so I can't imagine the version 5 gargoyle software not working on it.

Flashed a WR841ND v7.1 router with gargoyle_1.4.2-ar71xx-tl-wr841nd-v5-squashfs-factory.bin and it works just fine.

So the version 7's of the WR841ND will work just fine with the gargoyle firmware made for the version 5's.

The version 5 gargoyle firmware for the WR841ND works just fine on a version 7.1 WR841ND. Flash away.
