Re: Gargoyle to resolve two domains.
Ok. I might have a play. Technically I've got some newer hardware, that I can try it out of before doing my entire network.
But I'm also considering going for a ubiquiti USG as my primary router and may take that opportunity to do it then

Re: Gargoyle to resolve two domains.
Yeah I figured that was easier. So do you know the process? (still on 1.6.2) I went to the system\identification tab and changed lan to mydomain.com and hit save. A quick look in the etc/config/dhcpd.conf I saw that domain=mydomain.com but local was still set to local=\lan\ I didn't force a restart ...

Gargoyle to resolve two domains.
I'm looking at getting some certificates for some local services I run. So machine.mydomain.com for an http service internally. Currently my gargoyle is set up to add .lan to all the machines, so machine.lan responds. But obviously https://machine.lan gets a certificate error with my new machine.myd...

Re: Help with access restrictions for guest network
Hi mate if your router has more than 4 mg of flash you mite want to try updateing to the 1.9.x builds. http://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_ispyisail/ If you take a back up you can flash back if it does not work out for you. You can not save settings when updating. I'll have to try again, but I had re...

Can Gargoyle serve dhcp to 2 vlans?
Can i make gargoyle router (1.6.2 on a wr1043nd) server dhcp to it's own subnet, and another subnet on a 2nd vlan? I've got a unifi ap, that can run two ssids, one for me and one for guest network. I can put the guest network to its own vlan, but I've got no way of giving it a dhcp server. Just wond...

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations
I could never get the 2.1 hardware with the latest gargoyle version to work.
Have currently implemented the tagging manually on a 1.6.2 version of gargoyle on the 1.8v hardware.
Is rock solid though.
