System Time Won't Update
I am running 1.12 on an Archer C7 v4. Everything seems to run well except the time won't update itself. I have changed to different NTP servers to no avail. I can also see the domain being passed on my pi-hole. Simply put, the system time will not update itself (or all the time servers are crazy! :m...

Do you have the C7 V4?Waterspuwer wrote:I initially bought the C20 but swapped it for C7 instead as C20 had much worse Wi-Fi range. RC5 works fine so far.

Yeah, I've been around the block a time or two and I keep coming back to Gargoyle. It just fits my needs while others seem lacking.buggers wrote: Nevertheless, I would like to sincerely thank you for your invaluable contribution; my nine-year-old router feels brand new thanks to Gargoyle!

Re: [BROKEN] Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 3
@trailblazer Did you set a wifi country through the GUI or were you not given an option? If so, which country. Be aware that choosing channels 52-144 will have a 60 second delay before they come online (if they pass the test). I did get that prompt to set the country on first boot, which I believe ...

Re: [BROKEN] Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 3
I also have a Archer C7 v4 and the problem I'm having is that I can't change to any other channel than 36 for 5Ghz. If I do, the 5Ghz wifi light blinks once and then goes out. I assume that it doesn't 'like' any other channel. There's plenty of open channels with nothing on them. I tried in the midd...

Re: Extend 5ghz signal strength
Thanks, Lantis. That works great. So I can help you guys with testing on my TP-Link Archer C7 V4. I also have a WNDR3700V2 I can test with. Additionally, I have a Netgear R7000 but I don't think that there are any Gargoyle builds for ARM. I'm not a coder, but I'm happy to help any way I can. Host bu...

Re: WiFi button not supported
we can get you both up and running if you are willing to do some very basic coding. ....... test it out and see what happens. Thanks very much for this! Stuff like this makes me realize that I know nothing about linux and coding! Although I didn't know what that last part did, it worked perfectly. ...
