You speak of 1.13.x and it brings to mind a question: I am running 1.12 (as I prefer to run stable software), but 1.13 would seem to be the development version since 03 DEC of 2019. That is over two years since a release, will a new stable version be forthcoming anytime in the near future?

Correct You can either use the hosts file to block the two domains that cause an issue (you can identify this through the ddns logs) or you can use a much more modern version. I will search the forums for the bug, but, if it has been fixed then is it fair to say no new stable release was issued with the fix then?
