Hi Lantis: I Appreciate you looking into this (along with all the other things you do for Gargoyle). I am not in a hurry to move to 1.15 so I will wait a bit to try it again. The bricking thing has made me wary
Hi Lantis: I downloaded the img and bin code last week from your site, 1.15.x_20250331. I did not preserve the settings.
While installing the code I actually bricked the router, took me a tremendous amount of time to recover from that. Fortunately I had a old router to keep me running.
I installed 1.15 on my WRT32X. It came up and everything appeared correct however I discovered two issues. 1. I could not get it to successful connect to my ISP. It would/could not get a wan ip. Working with the ISP (Astound) we reset the modem (Arris SB6141) multiple times. They could see the route...
Thanks for your help. I believe my configuration is stock. I don't remember adding anything. I don't have any tracking enabled unless it was done on the original build. The only thing I have configured is to assign static IP's. probably have 50+ addresses. A few weeks ago I noticed the memory error ...
My WRT32x running Gargoyle 1.12 keeps displaying the following message... Router storage full (read only) or is mounted in volatile storage (RAM). It will not function correctly, or will revert to a previous state after rebooting. Restore default configuration or flash new firmware (without preservi...
RomanHK: The 1.11.x code seems to have done the trick. All of my networks are now working and by using the set wireless command on my guest network all of my IOT devices are also working. Thanks for all of your help!!! It was painful getting here but I really like this router and Gargoyle. My thanks...
RomanHK: Thanks for the reply! I had already changed that. It looks like yours (192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.249). I don't think it makes any difference but I also have all my devices listed as Static Assignments, they start at 192.168.1.4 and go up.
Well I thought I had this done but I guess not. I took the suggestion of enabling the guest network and running the command against it to disable WMM. I was able to connect a couple of the devices that have been giving me trouble so I was thrilled. I removed my working Gargoyle router and installed ...
Hi Lantis & RomanHK: Disabling WMM worked :D , the devices I was having trouble with can now connect and their apps work. A couple of questions.. 1. Does this slow both the 2.4 & 5ghz bands? 2. Is this permanent or will it go away if I reboot/unpower the router? 3. I don't know what your ref...
