Re: Bridge Mode - How to do it right

Then set Mode; Gateway Connect Via: disabled Bridge WAN to LAN Setup AP as necessary. this will achieve what you want, but Gargoyle won’t be doing anything *smart* Perfect thanks  I've now bridged my pfSense box through gargoyal router to act as a wireless access point. This keeps all the ...

Re: TL-WDR4300 TX Under Powered ?

Fair reply, i appreciate you efforts getting the region selection into the firmware. And your right, my issue seems to be more about TP-Links hardware implementation, than Gargoyle. Also the assistance with complying would be very welcome if i chose to go down that path. I can see the argument for w...

Re: TL-WDR4300 TX Under Powered ?

If computer security researchers can legitimately publish Zero day exploits , i see no reason as to why wifi users cant legitimately discuss how to unlock the full potential of their device for use in within regulations. Especially if you live in the claimed "land of the free" with that tr...

TL-WDR4300 TX Under Powered ?

So when i set my region, Gorgoyle restricts my TX power 22db for 2.4Ghz 21db for 5Ghz This alone is incorrect as im allowed 1000mw for my region, which i believe is 27db? It gets WORSE tho... when i SSH into my WDR4300 and run iwinfo for 2.4Ghz i get Tx-Power: 17 dBm for 5Ghz i get Tx-Power: 19 dBm ...

Re: How too install and use DNSCrypt with Gargoyle

It's good to write configurations here, especially about: /etc/config/dhcp /etc/dnsmasq.conf /etc/config/dnscrypt-proxy When I get home, I'll test Gargoyle 1.11.X and step by step again. Here are my configs /etc/config/dhcp config dnsmasq option domainneeded '1' option boguspriv '1' option filterwi...

Re: How too install and use DNSCrypt with Gargoyle

Something odd tho, says im running version 1.4.3 but on this github page it says latest version is 2.0.22 ?? https://github. com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy I got your post with the address http://exopenwrt.roland.black/, so the tested version is 1.7.0. To explain: Gargoyle 1.10.0 = DNSCrypt v1.4.3 fro...
