Thanks. I had forgotten how the interface works.

Re: Version 1.9.2

Just updated to 1.9.2. Nice new interface. I've run into one problem. The Adblock plugin no longer has a place to Add to the White List. Adding to the Black List is still there. FYI, I upgraded by preserving my settings. It seemed that no Adblock settings were preserved, since I had to reinstall the...

Re: Xbox Live vs Time Warner Cable outage

Thanks for the reply. The solutions weren't really detailed, just comments to an article about the outage, such as this m and m However, my original post is hopefully moot now. The outage seems to be over. It's still listed at m but everything seems to be working fine now. A few posts on Twitter are...

Xbox Live vs Time Warner Cable outage

For the past 40 hours there has been a strange outage of Xbox Live for some Time Warner Cable customers (myself included). After seeing reports that sharing a laptop's Internet connection gets around the outage, I tried it myself and found that it works. I'm wondering if there's a way to set up a si...

Re: Version 1.3.13

Currently 12.1MB / 13.1MB (92.1%). That is pretty typical. I see 96% sometimes. I don't think I've seen higher. I bought the WRT54GL because I thought it would be the most reliable and stable. I sometimes wish I had a router with more memory though. Always being above 90% memory usage makes me nerv...

Re: Version 1.3.13

I successfully upgrade 1.3.12->1.3.13, but had to use the mtd write method again. The GUI and sysupgrade didn't work. Do you think I'll have to go this route from now on? I have a WRT54GL, v 1.1. Thanks. How is the RAM usage on the WRT54GL? Currently 12.1MB / 13.1MB (92.1%). That is pretty typical....

Re: Version 1.3.12

Eric, regarding your suspicion that the Bandwidth Monitor is to blame, I have a bit of anecdotal evidence. When the router spontaneously rebooted during a heavy download, I happened to have the Bandwidth Usage page open in a tab. After the reboot, the graphs stayed at flatline for several minutes, e...

Re: Version 1.3.12

I had to use the mtd write method to upgrade 1.3.11 -> 1.3.12, just I had had to for 10 -> 11. Upgrading via web interface or sysupgrade did not work. I have a WRT54GL, v 1.1. I don't think I ever faced the rebooting issue, though my router did unexpectedly reboot once a few days ago while a large d...

Re: Version 1.3.11

The sysupgrade command didn't work for me to go from 1.3.10 to 1.3.11. It seemed like nothing happened beyond the router rebooting. The mtd write method worked, after a manual power cycling. I backed up and restored my 1.3.10 settings. Would there be any issues with that, as there were from 1.3.9 to...
