Re: Gargoyle 1.13 rebooted twice in 2 days

I reset the router to defaults, then manually reconfigured with basic WAN/LAN/WiFi (WPA2) settings. Still same issue. Seem to reboot in less than 1 day under moderate/heavy use. It's became too disruptive, I've reverted to version 1.12, that's much more stable. I use to run 1.12 for months without r...

Re: Gargoyle 1.13 rebooted twice in 2 days

Is it possible to log to a USB drive?

Happened again today. I've been on WebEx for hours, the router's been rebooting every day after about 4 hours for the past 3 days.

Thanks.

Gargoyle 1.13 rebooted twice in 2 days

Hi, My router rebooted twice in 2 days at about the same time of the day. Is there any log kept that I can check to see what had happened? I ssh onto the router but could not find a log file to look at. I'm using TP-Link Archer C7 v4 with Gaygoyle 1.13. The first time, I noticed I lost of internet c...

Re: Connection Dropped on 1.13

Yes you are right, it's the WNDR3700 v5 (mt7621-wndr3700v5).
WiFi is set to WPA2 PSK, not using WPA3.

Connection Dropped on 1.13

Hi, I've just flashed a Netgear WNDR3800 v5 (128Mb RAM) with 1.13. I have a Linux Laptop connected to the Ethernet port on the router, I was copying a large file to a Windows 10 PC using SCP from the Linux Laptop. PC is connected via WiFi. Half a minute into the copy, I noticed: 1. Other computers a...

Re: Version 1.12.0 : New stable version

Hi, I've been using 1.12.0 for a while on Archer C7 v4, it worked well for months, but now, it's not able to render the Bandwidth Usage and B/W Distribution graphs. It shows title and graph grid line etc, but no graph. Tried rebooting, still comes up blank. Also very slow when on those pages. "...

Hard Reset not working

Hi, I have installed 1.11.0 on TP-Link Archer C7 v2. I've forgotten the password. I tried to reset it to default by holding the WPS/reset button after power off/on. I held the button for nearly 10 seconds, all the leds went off and and came back on flashing, and rebooted. But after reboot, router di...

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations

I used the GUI to configure the PPPoE first, then edited /etc/config/network.

It's working for me on the TL-WR841ND. Going to try and configure TL-WDR4300 for VLAN 10 now.

BTW, am getting 27Mb/s download speed, and 14Mb/s Upload.

Re: Add GUI for VLAN configurations

Here is my config for a TL-WR841ND (v8) on Gargoyle 1.9.1 (don't like the GUI on the newer versions). I'm with Spark (NZ). On the Huawei router provided by Spark, it's preconfigured to use PPPoE so I tried to do the same on Gargoyle, but don't know if that is strictly required. Essentially I only ch...
