How to access my ISP router which is in bridge mode?

Hi guys,

I have a router from my ISP and switched it to bridge mode, and got another third-party router and installed Gargoyle on it. I can access my Gargoyle router fine, but I'm wondering if it's possible to access the bridge mode router via the web browser. I believe they're on different subnets.

Thanks @ispyisail

Should I install the factory.bin directly from the router webpage?

Firmware for Archer C7 AC1750 (US) v5

Hi there!

I just got this device today and would like to know if someone was able to install Gargoyle firmware successfully. The download list only has version 2.x for Archer C7, however, the OpenWrt already has v5 firmware available for download.

Re: Default QoS Rules Contest

@Knomax

I'm not a gamer, but I would like to try the two rules for browsing.

How about the upload rules? Did you enter the same values?

It’s pretty quick from memory.

I think your screen there is stuck waiting for the “-y”

Re: DHCP Wired TL-WA701ND v2 - Gargoyle 1.9.2 cannot be accessed

Hi, I think I've got failsafe working. I think I've used SSH rather than Telnet. Sorry, didn't read carefully the documentation as I was in a hurry.

May I know how long will this complete? It's almost 10 minutes after I hit Enter.

DHCP Wired TL-WA701ND v2 - Gargoyle 1.9.2 cannot be accessed

Help! I need your help here! What I've done before this happen was just changed the DNS servers from Connection > Basic page. After I hit Save my Android Tablet disconnected from the router and cannot connect back in. Got a message "Authorization problem" when trying to connect from all of...

Re: From Gargoyle to LEDE

Even better. 8-) Was there a specific feature in LEDE that you were after ? I was trying to check it's SQM feature but unfortunately I don't know how to make it work as I'm not that tech-savvy with networking. Unlike Gargoyle, I can just choose DHCP wired from the drop-down menu and connect the rou...
