Request for gargoyle-1.11.0-ipq806x factory image
All, I found a Netgear R7800 X4S Nighthawk in my storage which is running Gargoyle 1.11.X Built 20190604-1342 git@2145d42 and wanted to flash it back to the factory image, but can't seem to locate a copy of gargoyle-1.11.0-ipq806x factory.img. It appears anything prior to 1.13x.x is no longer archiv...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Thanks for the info guys. As for compiling my own 1.13.x...I wholeheartedly admit I am NOT that brave, nor do I have the time!

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
I played around with the settings and killed 160Mhz and dropped it down to 80Mhz and the 5G radio came up with the usual channels. Makes sense that this build doesn't have the 160Mhz support now.

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Thanks guys...Yes, the AdBlock Plug in is installed. I check the box to enable AdBlock and hit save config and when it is complete, the enable box unchecks itself. I'll try uninstall / reinstall of the plug-in. I have my 5G radio set for United States with its own SSID for A+N+C and 160 Mhz channel ...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
Looks like a couple of issues have been noted..
-I'm unable to get the 5Ghz radio to activate. 2.4Ghz is working fine.
-I am unable to enable AdBlock. I can check the boxes, but after saving config, the boxes are unchecked.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.11.0 for ipq806x architecture routers
I just got this running on a brand new Netgear R7800 Nighthawk x45 AC2600 router. Very easy to install the factory image over the atrocious Netgear GUI. So far no issues have been noted. I added the CPU config into the rc.local file and found my thruput is not bad on it. I am subscribed to 1Gbps/45M...

Running RC5 on a PC for WAN to LAN and on a Linksys AC1900ac for WLAN with no issues.

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 4
Yes, I completely understand. Almost like a duplicate IP situation...however, as I mentioned I'm not overly concerned with the conflict as I'll just keep the web access via port 80 off and I expect all should be well. Thanks for looking into it though, it is a bit of a unique situation. Regards, Andy

Re: Gargoyle 1.11.0 Release Candidate 4
Please revert to factory defaults, and establish the port forwarding rules via the GUI, and confirm that they work. If they work, please export a copy of /etc/config/firewall & network. If/when the router stops forwarding between the two ports, please export the same files to check for changes....
