Re: Version 1.10.0 : New stable version with critical security fixes
Shall be swapping to this from 1.9.2 tomorrow... but what's the best way ?
Tplink 3600... I presume I download the "upgrade" version and away we go, but can I backup my current settings, or must I set it from scratch again ?
MANY thanks for the work that goes into gargoyle!

Re: Network issue difficult to debug
I had a similar setup running for a year or so... but have now binned the pi in favour of the inbuilt ad blocker, as I got sick of several sites I use throwing up errors ! The set did work perfectly after I altered a configuration file - please see my other posts. Also assign the pi a fixed ip addre...

Re: WiFi printer on Guest network - not connecting
Think of guest and main as separate networks, only each can access the wan port (Internet)
Isolation stops each wifi user from seeing each others files or shares.
Do you want guests to use your printer ? If not, move it to the main WiFi.

Re: Please Wait While Settings Are Applied
I have the same router... and I thought update time was slow at 10 seconds ! openwrt and ddwrt did it more or less instantly, no idea why there's a lag with Gargoyle... but several minutes denotes a problem, I'd try a revert to stock and see if that runs OK, then reflash gargoyle... If it's still th...

Re: Reset DCHP leases ?
Rebooted both the device (Amazon fire tv box) and router... but that didn't cure it.
I set the lease time to 1 hour (could it be less?) and left it overnight, and now it only has the set address... so obviously the DCHP assigned one timed out and vanished !
There must be an easier way ?

Reset DCHP leases ?
Is there a way to reset the DCHP lease(s) ?
I set a fixed ip to one of my devices, and now I'm seeing both the set address and the original ip when I use a scanner !
I'm assuming the old address will vanish once the lease expires, but is there way to force this please ?
