Re: Archer C7 V2
Is it worth it going from 1.12.0 to your version? The 2.4GHZ band fails every once in a while, even with the 1.12.0 version.

Archer C7 V2
Lately I'm having some trouble with my Archer C7 V2 (Gargoyle 1.12 installed). I (and other devices) can't connect to the router. Rebooting fixes the issues.
Where do I start looking to fix this?

Re: TOR Ip address
It is now, I found out what the problem was.
For the TOR data directory, I selected my USB that was connected to the router. With this setting, TOR did not work.
Once I selected the router's RAM memory, TOR worked.

Re: No internet
Allrighty, I have just changed the DHCP range to 192.168.1.10/99 so it's outside the static range and I've checked the "enforce DHCP..." box again. For now nothing has exploded and as far as I can see all devices have kept their IP from the 'DHCP enforce table', if I might call it that way...

Re: No internet
How did you upgrade? (Preserve settings?) Nope, as I understood this causes problems so I didn't. I used the sysupgrade file. Do you understand how this feature works? I think I get the basics. The DHCP from the router distributes IP addresses to all connected devices for a certain period, the DHCP...

Re: TOR Ip address
Ah okay, I'll try to explain. Suppose my WAN IP address is 95.95.95.95 without TOR enabled. As seen when using whatsmyip or another site. In version 1.10, after enabling TOR, using the same site, my IP would be different, let's say 55.55.55.55. However, doing the same in version 1.12 results in my o...
